Maui County Sister Cities Foundation Hosts Delegations from Japan

September 28, 2007

Deidre Tegarden, County Economic Development Coordinator and the Honorable  Akira Hada, Mayor of  Fukuyama City, Japan  are joined by the Honorable Hisashi Kuramoto, Council Chairman of Fukuyama City for photo at a reception hosted by the Sister Cities Foundation in September.  The 16 member delegation were given Maui County Sister Cities t-shirts and other gifts. These snapshots capture the moment.

Deidre Tegarden, County Economic Development Coordinator and the   Mayor Hada is shown wearing a Maui County Sister Cities T-Shirt, presented as a gift.

Mayor Hada visited with Mayor Tavares and County Council members to
discuss the up-coming Sister Cities relationship soon to be finalized. He also joined in the Maui County Fair parade opening celebrations.
